Our terms, in plain words

These terms are a draft until an attorney has reviewed them. Nobody signs this version. Version 0.1. You'll sign a reviewed version before your first paid visit, and we keep the version you signed with your yard.

The service

A consistent schedule, set when you sign. We clean the yard area we agree on at the gate. Bagged and taken away with us. You get a short note that says when we came, how many we picked up, and how we left the gate.

Price

$24 a visit. A yard that has built up gets a first cleanup, priced after we see it. A price change comes with 30 days' notice. Pay as you go: cash, check, Venmo or PayPal. Contactless options are available.

If we miss a visit

You hear from us the same day. We come another day that week if the route allows, and if not, that visit is credited.

Pause and cancel

• Pause a week with 48 hours' notice. A paused week isn't charged, up to two a quarter.
• Cancel any time, in writing. A text is fine. There's no fee, and service ends at the end of the month you've paid for.

Gates

We latch every gate on the way out and record how we left it. You keep the latch working and tell us about anyone else who uses the gate. If we find a gate open, we tell you.

Dogs

Before the first visit, tell us in writing about any dog that has bitten or guards its yard. Any aggressive dog stays indoors for the whole visit, every visit. If a dog is loose or we don't feel safe, we leave the yard for that week and tell you that day. That week is still charged, because we came.

Weather

We'll tell you our winter plan when you sign up.

Health

We clean and disinfect our tools between yards. If a dog in your home has parvovirus, giardia or another illness that can travel on a boot, tell us, and the service pauses at no charge until your vet clears it.

Anything we tell you about what we saw in the yard is an observation, not a diagnosis, and it isn't veterinary advice.

Photos and codes

We may take one photo of the yard after a visit, never of people. It stays on our own computer at home with its location removed, for 90 days, or longer only while a question about a visit is open. You can say no to photos any time. If you give us a gate code, it's kept in a password store, never written down, and deleted when service ends.

Messages

We send the visit note and service messages by text or email, whichever you choose. You can stop them any time and the service carries on.
